Who doesn’t love Paint Your Own Pottery?
Here you see the "Before" firing with glaze, and "After" firing.

Essentially a '3D coloring book' and the easiest

activity for anyone to do— not to mention, walk-in friendly! Painted or "glazed" pottery is bisqueware that the artist (you) choose and design anyway you want!

Paint Your Own Pottery

Walk ins are welcome  to paint your own pottery!  We’ve got a huge selection from plates, platters, bowls, mugs, house decor to elephants, planters, princesses, dinosaurs, and piggy banks!  Something for everyone and for all ages! You name it, we've likely got it. We only recommend a reservation if you have a party of five or more and on weekends. Otherwise, you can come in ANYTIME~!

First, you’ll need to choose which item you’d like to paint and decorate.  Our prices range from $12 for our smallest figurines and ornaments to approximately $90 for large serving platters or vintage trees.
Next our talented and helpful staff will go over the basics of painting pottery and offer any assistance you may desire along the way.  We’ve got LOTS of techniques which not only produce BEAUTIFUL results, but are also fun to do such as bubbles, silk screens, splatter painting, shaving cream and more!  We LOVE helping release the Inner Artist in you!

All the ceramic pieces painted in our studio are dipped in clear glaze and fired in one of our kilns, assuring your pieces will be food safe.  We do recommend hand washing and avoiding the microwave.  You’ll want to keep your pieces and memories for years to come and these practices will help make that happen!
Because of the dipping and firing phases of the process, and the queue of pieces ahead of your pieces, it may take up to 2-3 weeks to return to you.  Please keep this in mind when planning your visit and also when planning your gift giving.  We will be glad to work with you to rush your pieces through if possible!

We also love to keep up Seasonal and Holiday items, and also do our best to keep up with current trends in the Contemporary Ceramics Industry.  If you’ve got any ideas for new items, we’d love to hear them!
And be sure and check out our Calendar of Events for special classes being offered with seasonal themes or special techniques!
